Developed in 1993, IVIS is one of the UK’s leading providers of corporate governance voting research. The service has developed from the low key, proactive, but non-confrontational approach to corporate governance adopted by the ABI.

The Association of British Insurers (ABI)
The ABI represents the insurance industry and its interests in the UK, Europe and around the world. The 440 members own approximately 20% of the FTSE All-Share Index, along with over £1.5 trillion assets.  
  
Subscribers
Taken together, ABI and non-ABI Subscribers represent over 30% of the UK equity market. Log On if you are an existing Subscriber, or view more information about how the IVIS service could benefit you.
  
Purchasers
The IVIS site allows non-subscribers to purchase individual reports, to receive alerts when a particular report is published, and to conduct a search for forthcoming meetings.  
  
Understanding your Report
An IVIS Report is usually made up of three elements. These are the Proxy Report, the Combined Code Report, and the Environmental, Social and Governance Report (ESG). The Proxy and Combined Code reports are given a Colour Code or 'Top' to reflect levels of concern or to raise awareness to elements of the report.
